Despite the early start Clonmel Celtic U14s were fast out of the blocks racing to a 7-2 opening day win against Peake Villa B. Celtic lead 2-1 at the break but they took control in the second half to run out convincing winners. There were hat tricks for Ciaran Horgan and Emmanuel Varghese and also a goal for Padraic Cooney.

Despite Kyle Ryan putting them ahead Clonmel Celtic U16s fell to a 3-1 defeat to Clonmel Town also on Saturday.
