Clonmel Celtic U16s picked up their first point of the season but had to settle for a draw in an entertaining 2-2 tie with Slievenamon Celtic on Friday evening. Celtic fell behind on 10 minutes when they failed to deal with an in swinging corner from Adam Blanchfield. Celtic responded well and were level within 5 minutes when Hugh Carolan was quickest to react when the keeper spilled Filip Dabrowski's free kick. The home side had the better of the remainder of the first half though the visitors were unlucky when Luke Condon's effort hit the inside of the post. Celtic started the second half on the front foot and a sweetly struck effort from Filip Dabrowski put Celtic ahead.
