Clonmel Celtic are still waiting to collect their first points of the season after a 4-1 defeat to Peake Villa yesterday. It was a depleted Celtic side that travelled to Thurles and in fairness they battled manfully as the first half finished scoreless. However a quick double from Ronan McGuire and Mike Quinlan put Villa in control early in the second period. Shane Garland scored his first goal in green to give Celtic some hope before late goals from Pippy Carroll and Justin Paterson sealed a 4-1 win for Peake Villa.
