Clonmel Celtic U15s also progressed to Round 2 of the National Cup following a 4-3 win against Waterford side Kilmacow. Goals from Dylan Fahey (2), Allan Compa and Adam Frejek had Celtic 4-0 up at the break following a brilliant first half display. Celtic lost their way in the second half as Kilmacow fought their way back in the second half. They scored three times to come withing a goal of Celtic and but for Daniel Keating in the Celtic goal they would have completed a stunning fightback. Celtic however just about hung on to make it to Round 2.
