Clonmel Celtic U16s enjoyed an impressive 2-1 win against St Michaels on Tuesday evening to maintain their unbeaten start to the season. Freddie Wall put Celtic ahead with a stunning free kick and Adam Frejek added a second to give Celtic a 2-0 interval lead. St Michaels had their moments and were probably the better side overall though Celtic had the clearer chances. The visitors set up a nervous ending for Celtic with a goal five minutes from time but Celtic held on for a good win.

Last weekend Clonmel Celtic B U13s went down to a 3-0 defeat to their Borris counterparts.
