Clonmel Celtic's slow start to the season continued yesterday as a 3-1 defeat away to Cullen Lattin saw them knocked out of the Munster Junior Cup. Celtic started well and should have been ahead before Michael Ellegott converted from the spot to see Cullen hold a 1-0 interval lead. A composed finish from Oisin O'Malley brought Celtic level on 68 minutes. Despite having more of the play and creating more chances Celtic were hit by two late goals from Tony O'Neill (81) and Max Reardon (93) as the home side ran out 3-1 winners.
